The RHUL Fashion Show 2011 needs YOU!! Don't pass up on this opportunity to get involved!

Dance Auditions and an EXTRA Model Casting

 So much is happening as we start to capture some of Royal Holloway's best talent to make 'LA Confidential' the best Fashion Show this University has ever seen... and we're still looking!

An Extra Model Casting will be happening on Friday 11th February in the Arts Building from 6pm, so if you haven't yet had a chance to show us your best walk and wow us with your very presence then don't miss out on this last opportunity.

We also know that there is some great Dance Talent out there and are looking for a set of dancers to take the show to the next level!

Time: Thursday 10th February and Monday 14th February 6-10pm
Location: Gowar Common Room

We need male and female dancers and are hoping to cast the group of 16 dancers (8 boys/8 girls)

Buyer Interviews and the final night of Model Casting

Well done to everyone who turned up for the model castings yesterday, it was great to see you all, and we look forward to meeting more of you tonight for the final casting session at 6pm in the Arts Building.

In other news… if modelling isn’t your kind of thing but you’re really into fashion and still want to get involved, how about becoming one of the shows buyers?

Time: Wednesday 9th February at 8:00pm - 10.00 pm
Thursday 10th February at 8:00pm -10.00pm

Location: Wednesday 9th: Arts Building - ALT2
Thursday 10th: Monroe Fox Seminar Room

From sourcing the clothes to styling the models this is a chance for you to get creative and put your own personal touch on this year’s hottest 1950’s inspired high street trends.

If you could please prepare a small mood board using a collage of images you think encapsulate 1950’s fashion and its current presence on the catwalk… think Hollywood glamour, Mad Men and Louis Vuitton. This is not something you need to spend hours on, just make it colourful and fun!

Do not miss out! This is one of the biggest annual events on campus, so why not be a part of something memorable while you are at university!

Please let our Head of Buyers, Jessica Johnston know which day you would like to audition so that we have a rough idea of numbers.

We are looking for MALE AND FEMALE models who will strut their stuff and make this show one to remember!!!

Female auditionees, please bring heels!
